JBC Carpenter Eastbourne, are experienced in all aspects of joinery and carpentry, so if you’re in the Eastbourne or East Sussex area and are looking for high standard carpentry work, contact our friendly team for free advice and a free estimate.
We undertake carpentry and joinery projects of any size from structural refurbishments down to assembling flat-pack furniture. Some of our services include making and fitting doors, supplying and fitting timber floors and fitting out kitchens.
Traditional and modern doors
If you need to replace inner or external doors, we can supply and fit a wide range of glazed and unglazed styles whether you prefer a modern style or something more traditional and in keeping with a period property. We can also design and make architraves and fit all necessary locks, handles, hinges and ironmongery. Even if you have just had a new carpet fitted and the door is rubbing on the floor, we will be happy to come out and trim the doors to size (something which can cause the DIY enthusiast more problems than you might imagine!)
Floorboards and floating floors
Do you need floorboards putting down or a full floating floor constructed? Or do you prefer laminate flooring or wooden tiles. To benefit from our knowledge and experience and ensure your floors are solid, secure, even and finished to a superior standard, contact JBC.
We can securely attach 90mm or 180mm floorboards to joists or a ply sub floor or glue to a screed before sanding, polishing and adding lacquer, oil, varnish or paint as required for the desired finish. Alternatively, we can construct a durable floating floor to sit on top of your underfloor heating, including all the necessary skirting boards or mouldings.
Kitchen fitting expertise
We offer a full kitchen-fitting service but, unlike a high street retailer, can also custom-make cabinets, wall units and other kitchen furniture if necessary. We install all types of worktop surface including wood for that warm, homely feel.
Other carpentry and joinery services JBC offer include:
Fencing, including construction and installation of panels, trellis and gravel boards
Decking with steps and handrail if needed
Garden sheds and playhouses
Wooden casement or sash windows
Furniture assembly (e.g. flat-pack beds, cabinets or wardrobes)
Although we are a local family-run business, our prices are very competitive and we work to professional standards, including respecting your deadlines and budget. We have appropriate public liability insurance in place and fully guarantee all of our work. References are available on request.
